Five contacts instead of one
The people you have listed as emergency contacts. With Plus that is five rather than one, each with the channel they prefer.
Your contacts get warned
If you miss the deadline, StillAlive alerts your contacts – first gently, then urgently. The message names the deadline, the time it passed and your name.
Push, email, WhatsApp, SMS
The alert goes out over the channel the contact prefers, with fallback to the others. Plus includes WhatsApp and SMS.
Holiday mode
Hospital, holiday, abroad: pause StillAlive for a period without anyone being alerted. That is exactly what it is for.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if I don’t check in?
When your deadline passes, StillAlive reminds you first. Thirty minutes late you get a second, firmer warning. After sixty minutes your confirmed contacts are alerted – urgently, with your name and the deadline.
Who receives the message?
Only contacts who confirmed themselves. You never see anyone else’s list, and a contact can be removed from the app at any time.
How fast is the warning?
Right after the deadline, with intermediate steps at 30 and 60 minutes. The app does not need to be open.
What about holiday mode?
Pause StillAlive for the period you choose. Nobody is alerted, and the deadlines continue automatically afterwards.
How do I cancel?
In your Apple ID settings (iOS) or in Google Play (Android), at least 24 hours before the period ends. Details in the terms of use.
Where is my data?
History, settings and your contact list stay on your device. The server holds only what a warning needs: your contacts‘ name, channel and address, plus the current deadline.
